Join us on this fast-paced drive hunt in one of Europe's most popular countries for wild boar drives.

For three days we hunt wild boar in the Croatian mountain region of Papuk.

We work with professional hunting organizations on site and have great confidence in them. In Croatia we have English-speaking hunting guides with great experience of the game and the area, they are very keen to present great experiences to the guests who come.

The territory we hunt on is part of Mount Papuk, the land is about 10,600 hectares and has a fantastic nature with varying terrain.

The Croatian guides have very good knowledge of the land and decide which areas we hunt shortly before the hunt, as they know where they have large groups of wild boar. Normally three sows are hunted per day.

There are no prepared paths or passes in the same way as in Sweden. Therefore, each pass is different from another, some passes have an incredibly beautiful view of a long ravine in front of them and some passes are narrower with dense bushes all around. This is part of the charm of Croatia.

The hunt requires little of the hunter as there are often difficult and quick shots.

There may also be some challenging hiking out to the pass as we hunt in a mountainous area.

Historical shooting of 15 hunters is about 40-60 wild boars during three days of hunting. The distribution is usually 10% boars, 10% females and 80% smaller boars on the parade.

Travel & accommodation in Sirac

We start the trip by flying to Zagreb in Croatia from Gothenburg or Stockholm.

Next, a 2.5-hour drive takes you to the town of Sirac, a small town near the mountainous area of Papuk. Here you have the chance to enjoy the Croatian countryside.

Once at the accommodation, we meet the guides who welcome us. Then there is time to get settled in the rooms before a pre-drink in the bar and a nice welcome dinner.

The family that owns the hunting rights in this territory built the accommodation in 2016, mainly for hunting guests. They have organized a cold room with an adjacent slaughterhouse. All meat is Trichinella tested and sold to local restaurants.

The accommodation has 22 beds in double and triple rooms. All rooms have a toilet and shower. On the ground floor there is a bar and a dining room where our meals are served. There is also a ventilated drying room for boots and wet clothes.

On the second floor there is a large salon with local trophies on the walls. Here we socialize and have breakfast and dinner for 4 days. Lunch is served on the hunting ground.

The guides give a briefing on the hunt during the evening.

Shots & Pots hunting film

Lubbe was in Croatia and recorded an action-packed hunting movie from our wild boar hunt in Croatia. Very worth seeing!

Side By Side hunting movie

Madeleine has also been to Croatia to shoot a very nice movie. The feeling we all felt was really captured in the movie!
