Available dates in 2026:
Join us for a classic driven hunt in northwestern Poland - a hunting adventure that combines excitement, community and tradition. For three intense days we hunt red deer and wild boar in some of the country's most game-rich areas. The hunt takes place near Borne Sulinowo, where we have access to a huge land area of 22,000 hectares. Of course, not all of it is used - the hunt management carefully selects high game activity areas to provide the best possible experience.
The hunt is fast-paced and challenging. It involves 5-8 shoots per day where the shooters are placed around the shoot without towers or cleared passes. Quick decisions and technically skilled shots are required - a form of hunting that really tests both nerves and experience. Wild boar and red deer are the most common game species, but there is also a chance of fallow deer or roe deer depending on the area and season.
The accommodation is close to the hunting grounds and offers simple but genuine comfort. Comfortable beds, well-prepared food and a welcoming atmosphere await you after each hunting day. In the evenings we gather for good dinners, game parades and pleasant gatherings where stories and hunting laughter are shared over a glass.
This trip is for those looking for real hunting in classic style - with traditions, pulse and genuine community.
PLN = Polish Zloty
Trapping fees are an important part of the set-up on many of our trips, and they enable responsible and long-term game management. On the lands we hunt, this has resulted in strong populations and, in many cases, game of very high trophy quality
Things to consider before the hunt:
Even on land with a good supply of game and several huntable species, the old truth applies - hunting is hunting. Nature is in control, and every day in the forest offers new conditions. That's why we recommend that you think broadly when planning your hunt. Often, the unexpected happens - you may get a great chance at game you didn't even expect, or the ground may show something different than you first thought. Our experienced staff are always on hand to guide you through the decisions, with both quality and overall experience in focus
The whole group shares the trapping fees except for the big red deer. This is an optimal arrangement. As a shooter, you do not need to be restrained on passes, while at the same time you do not risk incurring a large cost even if many good shooting opportunities are presented.
If you want to shoot a large red deer over 4 kg, the shooter pays for it himself according to the price list below.
An example of trap fees:
If a full group of 20 hunters fells 30-40 game distributed on wild boar and red deer and 6 red deer up to 4 kg during 3 days of hunting, it costs about 6,000-7,000: - per person in trapping fees. The logic is that if the group traps less, it will be cheaper and if they trap more, it will be slightly more expensive, it will be an incredibly good hunting day for everyone.
About payment:
Before the trip, it's a good idea to set an approximate budget and have a clear idea of the species you are most interested in hunting. After returning home, a single invoice will be sent with the trapping fees, which should normally be paid within three days, unless otherwise agreed.
We are always available for questions and guidance - before, during and after the hunt - to make you feel confident about the whole process.
The journey begins at home - when the car rolls towards the ferry and the hunting talk starts. Once in Poland, accommodation close to the ground awaits, where we land after the trip with a joint dinner and review of the hunting days.
For three days, we hunt carefully selected parts of a 22,000-hectare area near Borne Sulinowo. The hunt is fast-paced and challenging, with 5-8 shoots per day. The marksmen are positioned around the seeding without towers, which requires quick decisions and precision. The main game is red deer and wild boar, but fallow deer and roe deer may also be present.
Between the hunts, we are offered a hot lunch in the field. The day ends with a game parade and dinner at the accommodation - a simple but cozy place where we eat well, socialize and share the day's experiences.
After three intense days of hunting, we pack up and head home - a little tired, a lot richer.
Day 1: Departure for the Polish forests!
We gather in Sweden and pack the cars before taking the ferry across to Poland. Once there, we drive to our accommodation near Borne Sulinowo, where we check in, unpack and recharge for the adventure. The evening begins with a welcome drink and review of the hunting week, followed by a good dinner where we get to know each other in the group.
Days 2-4: The start of the hunting days
After breakfast we gather for the day's hunting briefing. The hunt takes place in 5-8 plots per day, where we hunt wild boar and red deer in one of Poland's most game-dense areas. The shooters are strategically placed around the plot without towers or cleared passes, which places high demands on reaction and shooting skills.
At midday, we have a hot lunch out in the field before continuing with the afternoon hunt. When the day's hunt is over, we gather for a game parade where we honor the game, celebrate the day's achievements and appoint the king or queen of the hunt. The evenings are rounded off with a good dinner and fellowship in true hunting spirit.
Day 5: We say thank you for this magical hunting adventure.
After a nice closing dinner and a good night's sleep, we start the day with a hearty breakfast and then check out and leave the accommodation to head for the ferry that will take us back to Sweden.
Dom nad Jeziorem is a cozy and modern accommodation located in scenic Silnowo in Poland, close to Borne Sulinowo and the beautiful protected landscape area Drawsko. It combines relaxation with opportunities for activities in a peaceful lakeside setting.

Set in a beautiful natural environment, Dom nad Jeziorem is a perfect base for both peaceful rest and adventure in Poland's forests and lakes.
More accommodation options
The accommodation is adapted to the size of the group, but consistently maintains an equivalent and good standard. Whether you are a smaller party or a larger group, we make sure that you stay comfortably - with proximity to the land and with the little extra that belongs to a real hunting trip.

The Borne Sulinowo forest district in north-western Poland is a wildlife landscape characterized by deep forests, marshes and silence - a place where hunting still feels real. Wild boar, red and fallow deer, roe deer, mink and wolf roam the varied and wild terrain.
The land is suitable for both driven hunts with powerful drives and pressure, and for stealth and vigil hunts where the silence of the forest sets the tone. The combination of a rich game population, challenging biotopes and a piece of military history makes Borne Sulinowo a land with soul.
This is hunting for real - in an environment that carries both weight and tradition.
African swine fever
We are following developments around African swine fever closely through our local contacts. No cases have been reported in our hunting areas, but we urge all travelers to clean clothing and equipment thoroughly after travel - as a precaution to minimize the possible spread of infection.
At dawn, when the ground is still damp and the air cold, we gather in anticipation of the day's hunt. You walk to your pass, rifle in hand, feeling every sound in the forest take on meaning.
The drive moves through the forest, the dogs work purposefully and the drovers follow the ground with practiced steps. Every creak and bark can be a sign of the presence of game. It's all about being alert, reading the terrain and being in the right place at the right time.
But driven hunting is more than shots and game - it is an interaction between man, dog and nature. A community that emerges at the end of the day, often around the fire or in the hunting lodge, where stories and experiences are shared. Here, tradition and the joy of hunting meet in an unforgettable experience.
At Waidmann, we're proud to offer a wide selection of game species to suit all types of hunters. Here's an overview of the species that can be hunted on this trip - complete with quick facts, hunting insights and game management information.

A day in the heart of Polish forests
Right from the start, I knew this was going to be something special. We gathered early in the morning, the whole team, ready for three days of intense driven hunting in the vast, game-filled forests near Borne Sulinowo. The ground was dense and alive - you could almost feel the excitement in the air.
Every day presented new challenges. The seeders were cleverly selected by experienced hunt leaders, and the drivers drove the game forward with great skill. The shots were fast, technically demanding, and every successful shot felt like a real victory. But it wasn't just the hunting that made the trip memorable - it was also the camaraderie with other hunters, the evenings of good food, warming stories and laughter around the table in the charming accommodation.
I had never before experienced a hunt that combined the adrenaline of driven hunting with genuine Polish hospitality. It was not just a hunting trip - it was a real experience for both body and soul. I can highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to challenge themselves and create strong memories together with like-minded people
Booking a hunting trip is often a long-awaited experience - and with the right preparation, it will be smooth, safe and memorable. Here are some key tips and advice to help you get the most out of your trip:
Choose the right hunt for you

Be flexible - Hunting is Hunting
Hunting is always on nature's terms. The weather, the movement of the game and other circumstances can affect the outcome. Although the hunt is the goal, it is often the experience itself - the nature, the camaraderie and the thrill - that becomes the strongest memory.

Going on a hunting trip means new experiences and memories for life. Unfortunately, it's not possible to control everything that happens, and sometimes unexpected things happen that can cause problems. So it's good to be insured both before and during your trip.
Often the travel protection included in home insurance and credit cards does not cover everything you need or want.
To make you feel as safe as possible when traveling with us, we have chosen to cooperate with Europeiska ERV, which has over 100 years in the industry. Together with Europeiska ERV, we offer their Travel Insurance Plus and Cancellation Protection. If you want to know more or want to take out an insurance, please contact us and we will help you with this.
The rules for using silencers vary from country to country. In Sweden and many other European countries, silencers are allowed and often recommended for hunting. However, in some countries, such as Spain, Poland, Serbia and Croatia, they are prohibited.
When you book a trip with Waidmann, you will always be given clear information about what applies in the hunting country in question.
Traveling with hunting weapons is possible, but it requires proper documentation and planning. Exactly what is needed depends on the country you are traveling to, but in general the following applies:
European travel: For hunting trips within the EU, a European firearms pass is required, which you apply for at the Police. We recommend that you apply directly when booking, as the processing time can be several weeks. You also need to notify Swedish Customs that you are taking your firearm out of the country. In most cases, a special invitation or hunting license is also required from the country you are going to hunt in - we at Waidmann will make sure you get this in good time.
Read more on the Police website
Travel outside the EU: For example, for Africa or other continents, a temporary arms export via the Swedish Customs is usually required, as well as a hunting license, invitation and sometimes a temporary import license. Rules vary from country to country, but Waidmann ensures that everything is handled correctly from the start, so you avoid uncertainty and hassle upon entry.
Air transportation: Your weapon must be transported in an approved, lockable gun case or bag. Ammunition is packed separately according to the airline's security rules. Weapon transportation must be notified to the airline in advance - if Waidmann books your flight, we will handle this notification and the entire process for you.
Waidmann has extensive experience in hunting trips with weapons and is with you throughout the process. You will receive clear instructions and the right documentation in good time before departure. If you want to travel without your own weapon, it is often possible to rent weapons on site, depending on the destination.
You can definitely book as a solo hunter with Waidmann! We offer both planned trips for single hunters, as well as small and large groups.
We welcome all hunters, whether you are alone or traveling with a group. Many of our hunters find that a hunting trip is a great opportunity to make new friends in hunting. Several of our 'bonded' groups have continued to hunt together years after their first hunting trip with Waidmann.
For those looking for a more personalized experience, we tailor hunting trips for both individual hunters and smaller groups. We also arrange trips for larger groups, where we adapt the experience to the specific needs and wishes of the group. In addition, we have the opportunity to combine several smaller groups to create a common hunting experience, which provides both variety and community.
Whether you are traveling alone or with a group, you can be sure that at Waidmann we will customize your trip to give you the best possible experience.
Booking a hunting trip with Waidmann is easy and we offer several convenient payment options. Here are the steps for booking and payment:

Final payment: The remaining amount is paid closer to departure, and the final payment must be made at least 40 days before departure.
Trap fees, if any: If there are trap fees, these are payable 24 hours after returning from the trip.
Payment: You can easily pay by card, Trustly, Swish or invoice. If you would like an invoice, please contact us and we will arrange it for you.
Cancellation: In case of cancellation, the following cancellation fees apply:
30% of the price of the trip between the time of booking and 40 days before departure.
100% of the price of the trip between 39 days before departure and the day of departure itself.
Flights: If the flight is booked by Waidmann and you cancel the trip, the flight price is paid at 100%.
We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, especially for exclusive or long-distance trips, to protect yourself against unforeseen events. We offer cancellation cover through ERV.
For questions about payment, booking or cancellation, you are always welcome to contact us. We are here to help you through the whole process.
We recommend that you book your hunting trip at least 6-18 months in advance, especially if you have specific preferences for the type of hunt, destination or timing. Some trips, such as those to popular destinations in high season or with a limited number of places, book up quickly.
However, it is often no problem to book at short notice, as long as there is availability. We have good experience of helping hunters out at short notice when the opportunity exists.
For exclusive or tailor-made hunting trips, as well as trips outside Europe that require more extensive documentation and planning, it is a clear advantage to be in the know well in advance. It gives us a better chance of securing the best hunting grounds, accommodation and flight connections - and you'll have plenty of time to arrange permits, gun exports and other preparations at your leisure.
Absolutely, many of our guests are making their very first hunting trip abroad with us. We have a lot of experience in looking after first-timers and making sure you feel safe throughout the process.
We help you with everything from choosing the right type of hunt and destination to preparation, documentation and equipment. During the trip, you will always have access to experienced guides and organizers who will support you both practically and mentally in the hunt.
For those who do not have their own equipment or want to travel light, it is usually possible to rent weapons and other equipment on site. We also adapt the level of difficulty, organization and expectations to your level of experience.
Whether it's your first hunting trip or you've been out many times before, we'll make sure you have a personalized and professionally executed experience.
