Trap fees are shown in Euro (€) and include Serbian VAT.
What is a Shooting fee:
A trapping fee is a cost incurred when a game animal is trapped during a hunting trip. The fee is often based on the animal's trophy size, species, sex, weight - for example, the shape of its horns or tusks. Trapping fees are a common part of hunting management in many countries and serve as an important incentive for responsible hunting.
Why are there Shooting fees:
Shooting fees are an important part of the setup of many of our trips, and they enable responsible and long-term wildlife management. The revenue from these fees is used by local hunting organizations to fund all their activities - from inventory and game management to land maintenance, staff salaries, game damage prevention and administration. Without shooting fees, it would be difficult to conduct hunting that is both sustainable and well-organized.
Important to consider:
The amount of the shooting fee depends on what is shot. In some cases, there is a fixed price per game, while in others it is determined by the type and size of the trophy. It is also important to note that in some cases, game shot or injured and not found may be subject to a fee.
And remember - hunting is hunting. There are no guarantees about what will happen during the hunting days. Game movements, weather conditions, hunting luck and other factors always come into play. This is what makes hunting alive, exciting and real.
Another important factor is the hunter's own skill. Experience, reaction time, accuracy and the ability to read the terrain vary greatly between different hunters. Our job is to create the best possible conditions through well-organized arrangements and experienced guides - but the hunt itself and the result are always on nature's and the hunter's terms.
On the payment of trap fees:
Payment is generally made as follows: When you return from your trip, you will receive a summary list of the game you have killed and the total amount of the trapping fees, in your booking portal. This sum must be paid within three days, unless otherwise agreed. The measurement of any trophies is usually done by the organizer and forms the basis of the final fee.
Our promise to you:
At Waidmann, transparency and security are always in focus. You will be fully informed about what is included in your hunting trip and what possible trapping fees may apply - no surprises. We only work with professional and reputable operators who work according to clear and ethical guidelines. You can rest assured that everything is correct, so you can focus on the hunt and the experience.
When you book a hunting trip with Waidmann Hunting Tours , you can opt for our flight package for an additional cost, making your trip both more comfortable and safer. In Serbia, you will be met by our local guides who will take you to the hunting area in the north of the country. Transportation from the airport to the lodge is smooth and offers beautiful views of the Serbian landscape that alternates between rolling fields, rivers and small villages with genuine atmosphere.
The hunting grounds consist of a varied landscape with open fields, forest groves and hilly terrain that create excellent conditions for the roebuck. There is a well-managed game population with a good supply of both young and mature bucks. The varied terrain makes hunting exciting, where you alternate between stealthy hunting over open areas and vigilant hunting from towers or passes.
Day 1: Departure for Serbia and the start of your hunting trip!
Upon arrival in Serbia, you will be met by our experienced guides and transported to a comfortable accommodation located near the hunting grounds. Here you will find a comfortable and rustic accommodation with everything you need to recharge for the hunt. The evening is rounded off with a traditional dinner and hunting planning for the coming days.
Days 2-4: The start of the hunt for the Roebuck
The mornings start at dawn, when nature is most alive and the bucks are most active. The hunting is mainly done as stealth hunting over open fields and through forest groves, but we combine it with guard hunting from well-placed towers and passes. The varied terrain requires both patience and sharpness, and every successful encounter with the roebuck is a pleasure for both hunters and nature lovers. In the middle of the day, we gather for a restorative lunch, where the day's impressions and plans for the next pass are shared around the table. The evenings offer warming fellowship, good food and hunting stories that live on.
Day 5 - Return
After breakfast, it's time to say goodbye to the accommodation and the beautiful hunting grounds of Serbia. Before we head back to Belgrade to fly home.
During our hunting trip in Serbia, we stay in a simple but cozy hotel, strategically located very close to the hunting grounds. Here you get a comfortable base with fresh rooms and comfortable beds - perfect for resting after a day filled with hunting and nature experiences.
The hotel offers a relaxed and homely atmosphere, with all the necessary facilities to make you feel comfortable. Although the standard is simple, the service is warm and personalized, and the proximity to the hunting areas allows us to get out quickly and easily in the morning.
This accommodation has been carefully selected to provide you with a practical and affordable hunting experience, without compromising on comfort. A perfect combination of function and closeness to nature - right in the heart of Serbia.

The hunting grounds of Serbia offer a varied and scenic terrain that is ideal for roebuck hunting. You'll find rolling fields, open meadows and patches of woodland where the roebuck thrive and show off their full splendor. The varied landscape creates challenging but exciting hunting conditions that require both patience and experience.
The land is well managed and the game population is stable with a good supply of roebucks, which gives good chances of successful hunting days. Here you can enjoy genuine hunting in an environment where nature's peace and quiet prevails, while you get the opportunity to hunt in one of Europe's most beautiful hunting areas.
The roebuck hunting season in Serbia starts in mid-April and lasts until the end of September. Spring offers great conditions with active buck movement, while the rut in late July and early August provides an intense and exciting hunting experience - perfect for Stalking at close range in beautiful nature.
The hunt is conducted as classic Stalking, a stealthy form of hunting that requires both patience and attention. During the day, you move quietly and carefully through the varied terrain - across open fields, through forest groves and along brushy edges - always on the lookout for the tracks and movements of the roebuck. Archery hunting is a form of hunting where every step must be taken with great care, and where the hunter uses all his senses to read nature and the behavior of the game.
The roebuck is a shy and vigilant animal, which means that hunting requires both skill and careful planning. Sneaking up on prey is an exciting balancing act between being close enough for an effective shot, but without giving away your position. It's a hunt where every sound, scent and movement can be crucial.
The Pyrsch hunt provides an intense and authentic hunting experience where the hunter is fully present in nature. It is a form of hunting that is not only about taking game, but also about feeling connected to the forest and the animals. Successfully Stalking a roebuck is a great triumph and a memorable moment that carries with it a strong sense of pride and respect for the game.

A perfect opportunity for those who want to make the most of every hunting opportunity while enjoying more days in Serbia's charming and unspoiled landscape.
We landed in sunny Belgrade after a short and pleasant flight, outside the gate our guides stood with a big smile and welcomed us to Serbia and told us that we had a great adventure ahead of us.
A nice drive where the guide told us about Serbia, Hunting and what amazing lands we would hunt on, the land he heard about as a child and is considered one of Serbia's best land for deer. Guess we got excited already on the way there!
Once in the small picturesque, charming village, we went and had a Serbian dinner consisting of meat and sausages, salad, potatoes and it was crazy good.
Then off we went to change into hunting clothes and off we went hunting. The land was only 15 minutes away from our accommodation so we were quickly ready for hunting.
The rut is in full swing and at the first stop we left the car and walked a short distance to a place where the guides knew there are some big and old bucks.
I put a bullet in the barrel and start luring with my Buttolo, right at 200m I see a buck running towards us quickly put the gun on the shooting rest and lure on. I see that it is a nice 6 tagger and decide to take the shot. Bang and fall and the guides cheer and congratulate me vehemently and we are now officially underway.
The game got its last meal and flowers covered the entrance hole according to tradition and after some nice pictures we went on. GOOD START says the guide and smiles with a cigarette in his mouth.
After a while we see several bucks that are not big enough for one guide "screaming" stop followed by: This is a monster!
We sneak out and start our stalk and I see that this is a big, old buck and the pulse is palpable.
The buck does not respond to cover but we manage to get in at about 90m anyway so I line up and get ready for position.
The guide roars like a deer and the buck turns around and shows the broadside, PANG and the buck jumps, runs around a lap before it lies down and the joy is total. Once at the buck we see that it is old and absolutely perfect whereupon the guide says, strong silver, maybe gold and I just think wow, already the first night and my dream is already fulfilled.
The evening went on and in the last light we managed to find another nice gentleman who also responded to the lid came like a cannonball in just 50 meters. After the shot, it disappeared into the field and I thought that this was not a good ending. But fortunately we found it shortly afterwards and it was a cannonball anyway.
What an experience and what a first night I had! I can't wait to tell you about the rest of the trip... We MUST do this again.
Booking a hunting trip is often a long-awaited experience - and with the right preparation, it will be smooth, safe and memorable. Here are some key tips and advice to help you get the most out of your trip:
Choose the right hunt for you
Whether you are an experienced hunter or traveling for the first time, we will help you find the right trip based on your goals, experience and hunting style. Do you want to experience the thrill of a Monteria in Spain, a stealth hunt in Hungary or perhaps a wake hunt for wild boar? We will guide you in the right direction.
Be flexible - Hunting is Hunting
Hunting is always on nature's terms. The weather, the movement of the game and other circumstances can affect the outcome. Although the hunt is the goal, it is often the experience itself - the nature, the camaraderie and the thrill - that becomes the strongest memory.
We're with you all the way
When you book with Waidmann, you get access to a dedicated team with extensive experience in hunting travel. We're on hand before, during and after your trip - whether you need help with trip selection, documentation, gun logistics or something unexpected along the way.
Before your departure
Once you have booked your dream hunting trip with us, you will receive a booking confirmation by email. After that, we will ask you for some additional information, depending on your destination and type of hunting. Your trip will be saved in your Booking Portal where you can manage payments and find additional information for your trip.
For travel outside Europe, we send you two departure letters: the first one about two months before departure and the second one with all the final information, about 40 days before departure, in connection with the final payment. For travel within Europe, we send you a single departure letter around 40 days before departure.
In these departure letters you will find everything you need for your trip, from packing lists and clothing recommendations to tips, offers and information on additional pre-departure details. You will receive your flight tickets around 14 days before departure.
During your departure
During your hunting trip, it is good to keep track of any trapping fees. These are available both here on the website and in your booking portal. We are available on WhatsApp in the group we create a few days before departure, throughout your trip to help if needed or answer questions.
Tip. We really appreciate it when you share pictures and stories from your experiences.

If you have chosen to bring trophies home, you will be contacted by our trophy management contact, who will inform you about the process, costs and next steps. After the hunt, we ensure that your trophy is handled professionally and according to all applicable rules. Our local partners are responsible for the initial handling - often boiling and preparing for transportation. If you choose a more advanced mount, such as a bow mount, this is often carried out directly on site by local taxidermists. After that, export documents, veterinary certificates and customs documents are handled in cooperation with our experienced freight forwarders.
Waidmann offers help with the entire process - from on-site handling to transportation home. We are there to support you every step of the way and are happy to provide advice on installation and the choice of conservator. At the same time, you as a customer have full freedom to choose to manage the process on your own if you prefer.
The delivery time for trophies varies depending on the country of hunting and the type of trophy, but we will keep you updated throughout the process.
Going on a hunting trip means new experiences and memories for life. Unfortunately, it's not possible to control everything that happens, and sometimes unexpected things happen that can cause problems. So it's good to be insured both before and during your trip.
Often the travel protection included in home insurance and credit cards does not cover everything you need or want.
To make you feel as safe as possible when traveling with us, we have chosen to cooperate with Europeiska ERV, which has over 100 years in the industry. Together with Europeiska ERV, we offer their Travel Insurance Plus and Cancellation Protection. If you want to know more or want to take out an insurance, please contact us and we will help you with this.
The rules for using silencers vary from country to country. In Sweden and many other European countries, silencers are allowed and often recommended for hunting. However, in some countries, such as Spain, Poland, Serbia and Croatia, they are prohibited.
When you book a trip with Waidmann, you will always be given clear information about what applies in the hunting country in question.
Traveling with hunting weapons is possible, but it requires proper documentation and planning. Exactly what is needed depends on the country you are traveling to, but in general the following applies:
European travel: For hunting trips within the EU, a European firearms pass is required, which you apply for at the Police. We recommend that you apply directly when booking, as the processing time can be several weeks. You also need to notify Swedish Customs that you are taking your firearm out of the country. In most cases, a special invitation or hunting license is also required from the country you are going to hunt in - we at Waidmann will make sure you get this in good time.
Read more on the Police website
Travel outside the EU: For example, for Africa or other continents, a temporary arms export via the Swedish Customs is usually required, as well as a hunting license, invitation and sometimes a temporary import license. Rules vary from country to country, but Waidmann ensures that everything is handled correctly from the start, so you avoid uncertainty and hassle upon entry.
Air transportation: Your weapon must be transported in an approved, lockable gun case or bag. Ammunition is packed separately according to the airline's security rules. Weapon transportation must be notified to the airline in advance - if Waidmann books your flight, we will handle this notification and the entire process for you.
Waidmann has extensive experience in hunting trips with weapons and is with you throughout the process. You will receive clear instructions and the right documentation in good time before departure. If you want to travel without your own weapon, it is often possible to rent weapons on site, depending on the destination.
You can definitely book as a solo hunter with Waidmann! We offer both planned trips for single hunters, as well as small and large groups.
We welcome all hunters, whether you are alone or traveling with a group. Many of our hunters find that a hunting trip is a great opportunity to make new friends in hunting. Several of our 'bonded' groups have continued to hunt together years after their first hunting trip with Waidmann.
For those looking for a more personalized experience, we tailor hunting trips for both individual hunters and smaller groups. We also arrange trips for larger groups, where we adapt the experience to the specific needs and wishes of the group. In addition, we have the opportunity to combine several smaller groups to create a common hunting experience, which provides both variety and community.
Whether you are traveling alone or with a group, you can be sure that at Waidmann we will customize your trip to give you the best possible experience.
Booking a hunting trip with Waidmann is easy and we offer several convenient payment options. Here are the steps for booking and payment:
Booking and booking portal: Once you have booked your hunting trip, you will have access to your personal booking portal. In the booking portal, you pay a booking fee of 30% of the total amount of the trip, which must be paid within 10 days for the booking to be confirmed.
In the booking portal, you manage your entire trip - you fill in your contact details, make payments and receive ongoing updates and all important information before departure. Everything in one place.
Flight booking: If Waidmann books the flight for you, the flight cost is paid in full as a second payment at the time of booking the flight.
Final payment: The remaining amount is paid closer to departure, and the final payment must be made at least 40 days before departure.
Trap fees, if any: If there are trap fees, these are payable 24 hours after returning from the trip.
Payment: You can easily pay by card, Trustly, Swish or invoice. If you would like an invoice, please contact us and we will arrange it for you.
Cancellation: In case of cancellation, the following cancellation fees apply:
30% of the price of the trip between the time of booking and 40 days before departure.
100% of the price of the trip between 39 days before departure and the day of departure itself.
Flights: If the flight is booked by Waidmann and you cancel the trip, the flight price is paid at 100%.
We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance, especially for exclusive or long-distance trips, to protect yourself against unforeseen events. We offer cancellation cover through ERV.
For questions about payment, booking or cancellation, you are always welcome to contact us. We are here to help you through the whole process.
We recommend that you book your hunting trip at least 6-18 months in advance, especially if you have specific preferences for the type of hunt, destination or timing. Some trips, such as those to popular destinations in high season or with a limited number of places, book up quickly.
However, it is often no problem to book at short notice, as long as there is availability. We have good experience of helping hunters out at short notice when the opportunity exists.
For exclusive or tailor-made hunting trips, as well as trips outside Europe that require more extensive documentation and planning, it is a clear advantage to be in the know well in advance. It gives us a better chance of securing the best hunting grounds, accommodation and flight connections - and you'll have plenty of time to arrange permits, gun exports and other preparations at your leisure.
Absolutely, many of our guests are making their very first hunting trip abroad with us. We have a lot of experience in looking after first-timers and making sure you feel safe throughout the process.
We help you with everything from choosing the right type of hunt and destination to preparation, documentation and equipment. During the trip, you will always have access to experienced guides and organizers who will support you both practically and mentally in the hunt.
For those who do not have their own equipment or want to travel light, it is usually possible to rent weapons and other equipment on site. We also adapt the level of difficulty, organization and expectations to your level of experience.
Whether it's your first hunting trip or you've been out many times before, we'll make sure you have a personalized and professionally executed experience.
