Travel with us to Namibia for an exciting hunting experience in magnificent surroundings to remember for life.
Namibia is an amazing country with many different habitats. There are both huge savannahs and dense bushes. The country has a rich wildlife, often without any fenced areas with good opportunities for fine hunting and safari experiences in the open.
For five days, we will arrow hunt in an incredibly beautiful environment with varying nature on open land.
The hunt usually consists of tracking the game with the help of skilled trackers and then sneaking in within a suitable shooting range. We hunt with a PH who guides us throughout the hunt.
Of course, we also make sure to enjoy life with incredible sunrises, sunsets and a magnificent starry sky to remember.
In Namibia we work with a very professional partner who is involved in the board of the Namibian equivalent of the Swedish Hunters' Association. The family farm we visit has been handed down to the current owners for several generations. They are very keen and knowledgeable about good game management and conservation of the biotope. Ethical hunting and game management is of course a matter of course.
We start the day with a light breakfast and morning coffee on the outdoor veranda with a fantastic view of nature. Here you can enjoy a nice sunrise and hear the savannah wake up.
We then wish each other good hunting luck and set off on the morning's adventure. We hunt until lunch and then we go back and share the wonderful memories of the morning over a nice and tasty lunch. We also take the opportunity to rest for a while as it is at its hottest during the day. After this, we head out again for the afternoon hunt.
When the afternoon hunt suffers, we meet again at the farm where an ice-cold drink is served before we enjoy a really good dinner prepared on the game we fell.
The evening is spent with wonderful hunting stories and something good to drink in front of a nice evening fire before the long-awaited bed awaits, and a continuation of the adventure as the day dawns.
We start the trip by flying to Windhoek in Namibia from Stockholm or Oslo.
A car is waiting at the airport to take us out to the hunting grounds and accommodation. The drive to the accommodation takes about only one hour and there are many nice things to see along the way in the magnificent environment we travel. If there is time and interest, we stop at a local lunch restaurant or hunting shop on the way to the farm.
When we arrive at the accommodation, our PHs welcome us and show us to our rooms. It is possible to test shoot your hunting weapon during the day, whether you rent on site or bring your own.
If you arrive early, you can have a drink in the bar before a nice welcome dinner.
PHn reviews the week's schedule and is happy to share his experiences and tips for a successful hunt.
The rooms are nice and laundry service is included, perfect for easier packing and hunting clothes are usually ready for a wash after a long day of hunting.
The dinners are prepared from the game we hunt during the week, which is much appreciated by most people. The meat is preferably grilled and served with lots of delicious side dishes.
We live on the edge of the hunting ground with views of the mountains and open savannah that make up parts of the hunting ground.
Evenings are spent in front of a crackling fire with a drink and sharing hunting stories.
