At Waidmann, we take responsibility for the climate, the environment, and society, both in our own operations and through the trips and experiences we create. We do not want to pass on the responsibility to our customers; instead, every trip, event, or service we offer is carefully planned and includes climate compensation.
We measure and report our climate footprint and that of our customers to an external third party, which helps us to offset our entire footprint, from air travel and hotels to ground transportation, meals, and activities.
We actively work to reduce emissions through smarter choices in transportation, accommodation, activities, and partners, both externally and internally.
We prioritize suppliers who have clear sustainability goals and who share our values.
We avoid single-use items and encourage reuse and digital marketing for our customers' events, minimizing our environmental footprint throughout our operations.
We celebrate the equal value of all people and work to promote an inclusive approach, both internally, with our customers, and in our collaborations around the world.
We support projects that contribute to education, gender equality, and improved living conditions in the areas where we operate.
We ensure fair working conditions and choose suppliers who take social responsibility seriously.
Through our climate compensation, we support selected projects in destinations where we operate.
We create programs that contribute to the preservation of biodiversity, nature reserves, coral reefs, and protected areas.
We offer trips where animal and nature experiences are conducted in a responsible and respectful manner.
Transparency & follow-up:
We choose partners who strengthen local communities, respect cultural heritage, and benefit local economies.
We communicate openly about our sustainability work, both internally and externally.
We are developing a system to help our customers with reporting for all events, conferences, and study trips that we arrange for them.
We strive for continuous improvement and develop our work in line with the UN's global goals for sustainable development.
Waidmann Hunting Tours has qualified for The Travelife Partner Award through its environmental and sustainability work. This means that we meet more than 100 criteria related to sustainability management, office operations, cooperation with suppliers, and customer communication. The qualification process began in 2023 and follows a program with action points in both social and environmental sustainability.
To qualify as a Travelife Partner, an independent audit is conducted on an ongoing basis. The work is continuous, and continuous improvements are required to maintain Travelife Partner status.
