The mouflon is a robust game sheep that lives in rocky and hilly areas, often with steep slopes that place high demands on the hunter. Their twisted horns can grow large and heavy, and are sought-after trophies. Bucks weigh 30-50 kg. The species is mainly found in the Mediterranean, especially on islands such as Corsica and Sardinia, but has also spread to parts of southern Europe. Hunting requires good fitness and familiarity with mountainous terrain, and shooting positions are often challenging. The mouflon is very vigilant and can quickly disappear in the difficult terrain.
In this album you can look at pictures of the above game. The pictures are from our various hunting trips around the world.
